Sewaco manufactures a wide range of HYCOVER Rotary distributors including Trough arm, Standard arm & Self dosing siphon types suitable for either pump, gravity or siphon feed systems. The HYCOVER range of machines is designed to handle a wide variety of application rates with flows from 5 L /s to 980 L /s.
Sewaco offers a refurbishment service to existing distributors to repair seals and improve flow rates using HYCOVER arm assemblies.

The Works at Evercreech receive a mixed effluent stream of domestic sewage and dairy waste. This was formerly treated by extended aeration systems using stone trickling filter beds.
Sewaco was contracted to construct a new plastic media roughing filter to improve secondary effluent quality for further treatment before discharge to a local watercourse.
A new 11.75m diameter single stage HYRATE Polytower biofilter was constructed and packed with 605m3 of modular plastic media to a pack depth of 5.4m. The structure was fitted with a roof to provide odour control, utilising down-draft ventilation.
The filter receives post-primary settled liquor at up to 55 litres per second. This is then pumped to the HYCOVER stainless steel open trough distributor, which is fitted with an over-mounted drive to control rotational speed and wetting rate.
